So I was rolling after I heard my co-worker say he could take out 70% of all the black belts that were pelting the two Fight Quest fighters. He said that Karate strikes are nothing compared to his ground and pound. When I told him it's Kumute style, he said it was still nothing. Taking punches to the ribs and stomach is considered childs play to him. I told him I would pay him $500 cold hard cash if he could prove it and take on several black belts from Kyokushin Karate in a 5 man Kumute just like the Fight Quest hosts. He quickly declined and I called bull crap on that one.
Now you can watch the video of Fight Quest and I would like you to give comments on how a local boy who isn't even conditioned to fight full contact able to handle full contact??? Not even I would dare to say I could survive one round of Kumute sparring with a black belt. I think a kick to my jaw would send me down or at least dazed and in pain.

Episode 109: Insomnia Treatment Overview by Webmd.com
I found a link to webmd.com and it has an article in regards to treatment overview to Insomnia. One thing I did do is avoid going to the bars/clubs lately so I can sleep by 12am hehe. It's a start, and maybe I'll get it down by 11pm and then maybe by 1030pm after the news is finished lol. Maybe my bp will go down too lol.

Episode 108: Shimokita Glory Days - Japanese TV Drama
With the help of Insomnia, I was able to finish the full season of Shimokita Glory Days tonight. I should be really be sleeping right now since I do have work tomorrow but I couldn't help myself haha. Insomnia had a pretty convincing argument about finishing the series so I could find out what would happen.
The Glory Day series is a manga translation to tv. They also chose interesting people to play the parts in the series. Majority of them are female japanese adult actresses, gravure idols, and models. I guess that is why they also slated it for a really late night time slot on Japan tv.
Overall the series was entertaining, but the acting was really bad when you think about it in a serious note. Then again I think they were going for that type of acting because it was originally a manga series. The next series I have in store for me during my late night blogging sessions with Insomnia is going to be an anime series Macross Frontier. Currently I'm on the 11th episode or so out of 25. Oh before I forget, I've included a picture of the Shimokita cast.

Episode 105: Yatta Song & Men who aren't scared to show off them Leaves
When people ask you the question, "Do you have balls of steel?" Most people say yes, but can't really back it up in any sort of way, or flake when it comes time to. Now these group of freaky asian men who are actually celebrities in Japan have balls of steel or no balls at all because I don't know how one does this performance lol.
Even Jimmy Kimmel introduced/interviewed them on National TV about this phenomena that they created which supposedly a bunch of people all around the world imitated them on Youtube. I don't know if that is sad or just pathetic haha.

Episode 104: World of Warcraft The Movie 2011???
So it seems that they are finally getting serious about creating this World of Warcraft movie for the bigscreen. Long has fanboys/girls been waiting for this movie to come out since the first release of Warcraft back in the 90's. About 1.5 decades or so later we are still not there, but at least they have Sam Raimi on board as Director and he actually gave an interview to MTV about him directing the movie. Sam has promised to stay true to the Warcraft lore, but couldn't promise that it would be direct translation of game to movie. From his interview, I got that he is trying to use the elements from the lore, but create a new story arc to follow from a new character that will be introduced in the movie. The main characters that we gamers are use to from the lore will be supporting characters that help progress the storyline with the introduction of the new one.
Only time will tell if this will be a hit, and I sure do hope it's a hit. IMDB expects a release sometime in 2011, and that sounds about right. Especially if they can get production rolling in 2010 and finish edits to then release the film in 2011. Which I would like to note that I believe Transformers 3 will be out in 2011 also since they paid a crap load of money to Michael Bay to drop his vacation request and get cranking on the new sequel.
I've included a video from Youtube which is the opening movie from World of Warcraft video game. I think that this opening video was done well to draw that excitement/emotion of what the Warcraft universe has to offer to the viewers.

I still can't sleep so I'm here blogging episode 103 on Duc-u-mentary tonight, and it's about Mother Russia throwing a hissy fit. I guess when a video game about "war" is centered around your country being directly/indirectly spawning Hitler's Hell Child of some sort then I guess it's called being "insensitive" or something like that. Just like in France, they have some hissy fit law that says that media can't portray the Nazi symbol if I'm not mistaken. So when the big war game franchises came out I could have sworn that the nazi symbols were redrawn to look differently.

Episode 102: China's Gov't Experimenting a New Super Weapon???
Welcome to Duc-u-mentary episode 102 and tonight we are going to stir the pot a bit on tonights topic. Well, it seems that are friends over in China is experimenting with weather manipulation. Now we know Storm from X-men is only fiction, but maybe the Chinese actually have a few Storm soldiers up their sleeves? Actually, China used chemistry to send the right mix of ingredients to create rain in Northern China to help with the droughts they've been suffering. The problem is that it created a snow storm, but supposedly one of the storms wasn't created artificially or so the government says.
I don't think we are supposed to be acting like God and trying to control nature, even if it's for the good of a country. That is why it's mother nature, and mother knows best even when death is an outcome. I think that by tampering with nature we are going to cause more problems for us in the future.

Episode 101: Give me back that Filet-o-Fish
Welcome, to the very first episode of Duc-u-mentary, brought to you by Oregonduc himself. I just want to say that this will be an experiment at what random things that come to my imagination and onto the web. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with this Duc-u-mentary, but I do hope that in the end it will help preserve my memories for me to reflect on, and or entertain/educate/inform people of the random things that I have noticed. Also before we head into the first topic, I do want to spill out this disclaimer that my grammar sucks, and it is even worse when typing late at night due to insomnia. Remember I'm a local boy from Hawaii so the little pidgeon or bad grammar will screw me up at times hehe.
The first topic of the night (yes, it's my insomnia that inspired me to do this) is about the McDonald's commercial that has a fish hanging on the wall singing a song "Give me back that Filet-o-Fish" to two people in a garage. The interesting thing is that my parents actually received one as a gift and I got to test it out on my business trip to Kauai.
It is a very interesting novelty and I don't know how much it was or where you could buy it, but i'm certain that with a Google search you will be able to find it on the net. Without further delays here is the video:
